11.07.13 -day one
Clock ticks 17:10. Working day is over. But this is just the begining. Need to go home, before that some shopping, pack my bags, wash the car, put the bags in the car un only then.. I can think about sleeping.
After shopping when I finally got home the clock was around 7 PM. Ate my supper and continued preparing for trip. Last check for oil, tyres and other technical stuff and everything is done, but.. it’s not! Two more things to do. As i swapped the hood and trunk so that I would have original Trans AM looks, I had 3 color car – the car is black (shiny), the hood is matt black and the trunk is silver. As the trunk is from my dad’s Trans AM and we’ll put it back, I didn’t want to spoil it, but what I wanted to do was – upgrading the hood. As it was matt black and will be repainted in some time, by now we can do whatever we want. And the idea was to put on something interesting and usefull. So we bought some cherry red adhesive film, cut out symbols which sayed “US Car Convention 2013 Dresden”, on other side of the hood it was “Latvia Lettland” and our flag and on the front – webpage URL. After gluing I could finally wash the car.
Car is clean and we can put the bags and other stuff in the car. And the clock ticks around 11 PM.. One idea sneacks up – maybe not to go to sleep? No better to go.. And short before midnight I fell asleep.
