Meeting in Saulkrasti has ended. Season is opened in Latvia. What to do next? Need to think about future meetings for this summer. There are plenty of meetings in July, for example, in Sweden, Lithuania, Germany and USA. But as USA is too far away and it is not that simple to get there, we cancel all plans for going to USA for the next 5 years.
And we have Germany (DE), Lithuania (LT) and Sweden (SWE) left. We have been to Lithuania for 3 years, to Germany 1 year, but have not jet been to Sweden. So maybe Sweden this July? We could go to LT, because we have friends there, nice city and it is very close. Meeting is medium size, but most people have their own smaller “groups” – we could not feel the unifying feeling. Meetings in DE are bigger, people are friendly and helpfull, with more experience – they helped to repair my red Firebird last year. Thanks!!! But we have to go further to DE. So SWE? The biggest international meeting in world. But there is no point to go there with our cars, because nobody will see them and our level is not yet high enough. So the opportunity is to take a van and some friends and go together. And it is not that far as DE.
Despite that we have our reasons to go to Dresden! Because there is neither the time nor money nor strenght to go to all meetings. So US Car Convention – be ready for us!
US Car Convention will take place in Dresden (Germany) from 12th-to 14th of July. We have only the best memories from the last year. City of Dresden is not too big, but it has that special power to attract people with mountains, wine yards, old-town, friendly people, and a view in general when you look at it from the top of the mountain and of course – friends!
